When Diane and Johann asked me if I was available to photograph their wedding in the vineyards, I had a vision of the rows of vineyards bathed in Provençal light. And if it was not in Provence, maybe in Burgundy?
Anyway, I was getting ready for a trip to the countryside. And...surprise!
Paris is one of the most visited cities in the world. It's just beautiful. And it is not an exaggeration to say that, whatever the season. The post-wedding session in Paris is a great idea. You'll find everything here: beautiful parks, romantic alleys, bridges, palaces and of course, what you can not find anywhere else, namely the majestic Eiffel Tower.
A few weeks ago, I had the opportunity to cover a wedding in Burgundy at Maisons Blanches. Till this day, I recall that memory with such pleasure. In fact, Nadia and Didier are simply at the top. They needed a photographer to celebrate their wedding in Burgundy so we scheduled an appointment to meet at my house and after our dogs hit It off, It was our turn.
What to do this summer? Engagement session in Paris! I like photographing happy people ... lovers. So I really found enjoyment in working with this lovely couple. An afternoon in Paris is a perfect time to have a romantic photo shoot. A magical light shining down matched with our pleasant walk on the Seine river banks. An engagement session in Paris, paired with all the locals being out of town, is the perfect recipe for successful photos!
A wedding in Corsica— she is beautiful, both Corsica and the bride. I was taken back by how much Juliette’s beauty matched the island’s landscape. Immediately during our meeting in Paris, months back, I knew that we would experience an extraordinary adventure together. This was my first time ever visiting Corsica. One can say I fell in love at first site, or rather at the first ray of sunshine. This angle and color of light in Bonifacio is exactly what made the photo experience an unforgettable one!
I particularly like autumn weddings and even more so weddings in the south of France. Mark and Magda had chosen to hold their secular ceremony in a field in Provence, surrounded fully by olive trees. Having signed their papers at the town hall not far from Paris, they then went south to prepare for their country wedding. My plan was to then join them a few days later.
Sublime parisien wedding in the full swing of summer, with the sun shining down. When I photographed this wedding, I savored It as if It were a dessert made with my favorite ingredients.
